Websites that win customers

I build websites for service businesses across southeastern and south central Wisconsin. I know what they need because I ran one: a mobile detailing company that outgrew every website builder we tried, until I built a booking platform to replace them.

What I can build for you

You do not have to hire a designer, a developer, and an SEO expert, and hope they work together. Instead, I do all of it myself, for a fixed price agreed on before I start.

Marketing Websites

When someone nearby searches for what you do, your business shows up and your phone rings. One page for each town you serve, one for each service, all fast on a phone.

Online Booking

Your customers pick a time and pay online while you're out on a job. Deposits, reminders, and memberships all land on one schedule instead of in your voicemail.

Brand Identity

Plenty of good businesses earn a reputation before they ever have a logo. I design the logo, colors, and type, then hand over a usage guide so your truck, your shirts, your invoices, and your site all come out matching.

Online Presence Review

We spend one session on the three places customers judge you: your website, your Google listing, and your reviews. You leave with a written punch list of fixes, and most of them turn out to be small: wrong hours, a slow homepage, a bad review nobody answered.

Co-ownerBooking Platform

Detailing Delivered

Booking and operations platform I designed and built as co-owner of Detailing Delivered (2023–2026).

  • Customers book online, and the schedule groups nearby jobs so the crew spends the day working instead of driving.
  • The platform takes payments, manages memberships, and texts customers their updates, with no office manager needed.
  • One dashboard shows the jobs, the money, the analytics, the calendar, and the customers.

Always Busy Shop

A mobile equipment repair and welding shop that needed more than word of mouth to keep the schedule full.

Built for phone screens and built to make the phone ring: services laid out the way customers search, with a call button on every screen.

Client review

“He built the website around our business, never a generic template.

Nick did an awesome job building our website. We had an idea of what we wanted, but he took it way beyond what we were expecting. He was patient with all of our questions and changes, and he always found a way to make things work.

He really cared about getting the details right and making sure the website fit our business instead of just using a generic template. The site looks professional, works great on phones and computers, and has already gotten compliments.

What impressed me most was how easy he was to work with. He communicated well, kept us updated, and clearly takes pride in what he does. I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a website, whether it's for a small business or something more custom.

Why me

I've run a business like yours

For three and a half years I co-owned and ran a mobile detailing company. I answered the customer calls, managed the schedule, and set the pricing. I know what a website has to do for a business like yours because I needed one myself. I build websites the way an owner wants it built.

You talk to one person from the first call to launch: the same person who builds your site. No account managers, no ticket queues.

How it works

A process that respects your time

  1. Intro call

15 minutes on the phone: what you do, where your jobs come from, and what's not working. You decide whether it's worth a longer conversation.

  2. Consultation

About an hour, and closer to an interview: I ask about your services, your customers, and what you want the site to do.

  3. Proposal

You get a fixed price and a written list of what's included within three days. Once you sign and pay half up front, the build starts.

  4. Build and review

You see a preview link in week one and get two rounds of revisions to shape it. I bill further rounds hourly.

  5. Launch

You approve the final walkthrough and pay the second half before the site goes live. We launch it together, your 30 days of free small edits start, and the monthly Care + Hosting plan takes over from there.

The guarantee

You own your website. I keep it running.

The hosting and domain sit in my accounts, which saves you from setting up records and renewals you'd rather not think about. They're still yours. Say the word and I can transfer them over to you, including a document of how they all work.

Your name on the domain

The domain is registered in your business name, on your card. You own it from the first day.

Upkeep is handled

Hosting, updates, and monitoring run through the Care + Hosting plan, along with a monthly allowance of small edits. Call or text me and it gets done.

Every account in your name

The tools behind the site follow the same rule: your Google Business Profile, your search data, the service that sends your form emails. I run them, and your business owns them.

If we part ways

Everything moves into accounts you own, with plain written instructions for each one. I quote the move like any other job, and if I ever close up shop you get 60 days notice and the transfer costs nothing.

Pricing

Straightforward, package-based pricing

Three ways to start, each a package with a starting price. Your exact price is fixed in writing before I begin, and if you need something the packages don't cover, I quote that job on its own. Every build comes with a monthly Care + Hosting plan for hosting, updates, and a set allowance of changes.

Questions

Answers before you call

When a business like yours weighs a website redesign, these are the questions that come up most. For anything else, contact me and ask.

Read every answer

How long does it take?

That depends on the size of the build and how fast your photos and content arrive, so I put the schedule in your written proposal instead of guessing here. A preview link goes up in the first week of the build either way.

Who owns everything?

You do. The domain is registered in your business name on your own card, and the site and its code are yours once the build is paid. I run the hosting and the DNS so you never deal with the technical side, and if we part ways it all moves to accounts you own.

What happens after launch?

You get 30 days of unlimited small edits while we shake out the details, 45 on the Platform care plan. After that the monthly Care + Hosting plan takes over: hosting, updates, and the changes included in your plan. Call or text me, and anything beyond your plan's allowance gets a quote before I start.

What do you need from me?

A few meetings, about an hour each. You fill out a one-page document about your business and what you want the site to say, and you drop your photos and videos into a shared folder I set up. The more photos, the better.

When do I pay?

Half before I start and half before your site goes live. Care + Hosting is separate: it begins the day your edit window closes, 30 days after launch or 45 on the Platform care plan, and that date becomes your monthly billing date.

Can I see the site before I commit?

You see it once the build starts. You sign the agreement, pay half up front, and a preview link goes up in the first week so you can watch it come together.

Do I need to be technical?

No. I handle the technical side of the build and the launch for you. Everything I need from you fits on the one-page document we start with.

What area do you serve?

I work with service businesses across southeastern and south central Wisconsin.
